Budokan Judo Club of Miami, Florida is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to teaching children of all ages the martial art of Judo. Established in 1990 by Sensei & President Mr. Evelio Garcia, the club provides its members with the opportunity to learn the sport and to develop discipline, respect and self-defense. Students will gain a sense of personal accomplishment, learn how to work as a team and develop strength, balance and agility. At Budokan Judo Club, students are introduced to a variety of Judo techniques, which help them to develop self-confidence, coordination and respect for their peers. Judo is not only a great way to stay healthy, but provides a social setting for students to meet new friends and build leadership and communication skills.
