About Family Music Time

Music Together® classes offer families the unique opportunity to make music together. This award-winning program helps you and your child explore music and movement in a supportive and fun environment. You can experience the joy of music-making and social interaction, while fostering a positive connection with your child. Our Music Together® classes are designed to build on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. Led by trained and talented instructors, these classes are a great way to spend quality time with your baby, toddler or preschooler. You and your little one will learn a variety of activities that will help your child become a confident and life-long music maker. Our classes provide a supportive forum for you and your child to make music together and share in the joy of music-making with other families.

Mixed Age
Our mixed-age classes create a family feel, and give children a chance to learn from - and teach! - each other. Mixed age classes give every child a chance to participate at exactly the level that’s comfortable for them. And families love our mixed-age classes because siblings can to play together in the same class, with all siblings benefiting from the experience. The Music Together® curriculum is designed to meet the needs of a broad range of ages and abilities, from infancy through kindergarten.

Babies Music Classes
Maybe you’ve noticed that your baby responds when you play a song in the car or sing to soothe him. Babies are naturally musical---and you don’t have to be a great singer or dancer yourself to nurture their love of music. In this music class for babies, your Music Together® teacher will show you how you can support your baby’s music development through simple and fun activities. You’ll learn lots of musical ways to connect with your little one through music, and you’ll bond with the other new parents in your class, too. Family Music Time was among the few exceptional centers chosen by MTLLC to pilot the new updated Babies' Class! Learn the most up-to-date and current information from the award-winning Music Together organization on supporting and nurturing your baby’s musical development.

Rhythm Kids
Rhythm Kids follows through on the Music Together vision to help children complete the pathway of early childhood music development from birth through age 8. As part of the Rhythm Kids experience, children and their grownups can enjoy drumming play and practice sessions at home with the help of online play-along videos featuring Rhythm Kids creator Tom Foote.
