Our family-run business started in 1978 and is now owned and operated by second and third generation surfers and skateboarders. DEERFIELD BEACH SURF CAMP

Join us for the most trusted surf camp in South Florida. Island Camps has over 44 years of experience in surf lessons, surf camps, and surf trips. We love to share our knowledge of the ocean and teach kids how to surf!! Our goal is to empower the youth to live a healthy and fun lifestyle and to teach them to love our beaches and our ocean. As partners with the City of Deerfield we are blessed to operate our spring, summer and winter camps just north of the beautiful Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier. Surf camp is open to all skill levels. Whether you're learning how to pop up or perfecting your bottom turn we have the instructors you need to take your surfing to the next level.

SURF LESSONS

Island Camps offers a variety of surf programs for all ages and skill levels. Our seasoned instructors of second and third generation surfers take great care in planning each lesson to insure that all of our participants enjoy their surfing experience to the greatest extent possible. We consider many factors, such as current weather and ocean conditions, skill level and interests, and the individual needs of our participants. We are currently offer free Saturday surf lessons, surf clinic, private one-on-one lessons, small group lessons of 2-4 students, large group lessons of five or more students, birthday parties and events. Whether you’re going out for the first time or looking to learn new tricks, we have a lesson designed for you. See you in the water!

SKATEBOARD LESSONS

IWS provides skateboarding lessons for all ages and all levels (beginner to advanced). Our lessons are provided through our IWS skate team and are hosted at a skatepark of your choice. Skateboarding lessons are customized to each skateboarder based on their ability and their skateboarding goals. Our instructors offer a wide variety of techniques that can be matched specifically to the skaters skill levels.
