About Kinder Swim, Inc

Katja is an experienced swimming instructor and water safety advocate. She has been certified since 2004 through PediaSwim, one of the largest swim-float-swim schools in Florida. Katja is also a member of the nationwide association, Infant Aquatics, and attends national conferences annually to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in swim safety. Her passion for swim safety developed after her youngest daughter fell into a pool in front of her. Both her daughters successfully completed a survival swim program similar to Katja's current instruction, which gave them important lifelong skills.

Swim Lessons

Kinder Swim offers proven survival skills training to enable your child to swim, float and swim in the event that he/she may fall in the water. Through our hands on, one on one approach, your child is guided through a program that is personalized to his/her age appropriate level. Few programs are willing to teach children under the age of three. Kinder Swim, Inc. offers swim instruction to children 9 months and up.

Refreshers

These lessons are for children who have already been with Katja and completed the basic lessons with her. If your child has not been in the pool or practiced their skills in 3 months or more, he/she may need a refresher course. Lessons could be 1-3 weeks long (length of lessons depend upon the factors mentioned above) and are Mondays through Thursdays. The weekly fee is $92 and is due at the time of scheduling. Until the payment for lessons is made, your child does not have a reserved spot on the schedule. If your child was a baby and just a floater when they had lessons previously with Katja, they will need the full 6 weeks of swim-float-swim lessons.

Maintenance Lessons

Maintenance lessons are for children ages 1-4 years who have successfully completed and mastered the basic swim-float-swim courses with Katja, and want to continue with fun classes once a week to retain and strengthen skills that were previously taught.
