Physical fitness is an important part of a healthy lifestyle and an essential part of raising young, healthy children. Parents can help their children develop physical skills such as balance, coordination, strength, cardio conditioning, flexibility, core conditioning, and breathing techniques. Eating healthy is also a key part of developing long-term athletic development. Teaching these habits at a young age can help children form beneficial habits and lead to a lifetime of wellness and fitness.
In addition to physical fitness, teaching children self-defense and personal safety techniques can help them stay safe in potentially dangerous situations. At the Millennium Program, we encourage everyone to strive to become their best selves. We know that this can be a challenge, but with resilience and dedication, we can all move forward and achieve our goals.

Cadets
We pay special attention to this age group which we have named Cadets. They are our Middle school group. Their bodies are going through so many changes at this point. They are physically, mentally and socially shifting into adulthood. These are trying times. At Millennium Martial Arts we understand what it takes and what this age group needs regarding physical conditioning, nutrition, diet and motivation. This is also the time when these young people enter into a maturity level that enables them to understand the true principles of the "Black Belt Excellence" tenets of the martial arts and how they can apply them to life, at home, at school and later in their career. Pre-teen age is the time to start preparing to compete if so desired.
