About Kindermusik with Miss Susan

Kindermusik is a nationally recognized music program designed to provide children ages newborn to seven with the perfect blend of music, movement, listening, and instruments. Each class is tailored to the specific age group, with activities and home kits designed to engage and enrich even the littlest of learners. Home kits include a CD of all the music from the class, books to go along with the curriculum, and instruments, depending on the curriculum. Through the use of these tools, children get to engage with music and the arts in an age-appropriate and fun way.

“Village”
A weekly music and movement program which creates an experience of learning and bonding through: intentional touch (massage), choreographed movement to music, introduction to rhythms, age appropriate instruments.

Kindermusik
A weekly music program offered as a 2 year 4 semester sequential program. Each semester highlights learning to play a different instrument. Semester I & II features the glockenspiel (a pre-keyboard instrument) Semester III features the dulcimer (a string instrument) and Semester IV features the recorder (a wind instrument) Children explore many facets of the musical experience including: speaking, singing, moving, dancing, listening, creating, playing instruments, and learning to read and write music.
