For over half a century Wilmington Ballet Academy of the Dance has served the Delaware cultural landscape through our passion and commitment to the art of dance. Our mission is to provide career centered arts education to a diverse intergenerational roster of students in the local and regional area, and to use the arts as a catalyst for multicultural cultural enrichment through innovative collaborative performances, multidisciplinary arts experiences, and events. As educators we have promoted excellence in dance training and education to students of all ages. Our students have not only illuminated our hallways and classrooms but have shared our historic legacy on some of the greatest stages in the world. As a company we are driven to deliver the highest standards of our art through the performance of beloved ballet classics as well as stunning modern works that reflect today’s cultural landscape that are sure to become iconic historical records for the ages.
