In the state of Delaware, known as DE to its pals, resides an incredibly cool creature named Deke! Deke isn't your everyday creature; he's a hockey-loving, puck-slapping, helmet-wearing dragon. He's famous for his shimmering green scales, fiery breath, and his extraordinary ice-skating skills. He's the unofficial mascot of all the hockey-loving kids in DE. Now, these aren't just any kids. These Delaware youngsters are as tough as the mighty Delaware River and as swift as the gusty coastal winds. They swap their school shoes for ice skates as soon as the school bell rings. Swarming to the ice rinks like bees to honey, they strap on their helmets, grip their hockey sticks, and zoom across the ice, with Deke cheering them on from the sidelines. One of the things that make these DE kids unique is their laughter. It's a special kind of laughter that echoes across the rink whenever Deke accidentally slips on the ice or when a puck miraculously dodges the goalie. It's louder than the crowd at a Blue Rocks baseball game and warmer than a summer day in Rehoboth Beach. But don't be mistaken; they're serious about their hockey. They have shots as powerful as a dragon's roar and speeds that would make a cheetah envious. The glow in their eyes is brighter than Deke's flames when they're in a game. And as the sunset paints the Delaware sky with hues of orange and purple, the hockey sticks are laid to rest, filled with the promise of another fun-filled day of hockey in DE. So, here's to Deke and the hockey-loving kids of Delaware! Here's to their laughter, their passion, their ice-skating adventures, and their indomitable love for hockey. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Welcome Allie, director and founder of Tigers Sports Camp! With over seven years of experience in both field hockey and lacrosse, Allie brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the camp. In addition to her camp experience, Allie currently coaches high school girls' lacrosse. As the campers arrive for the new year, Allie is excited to meet them all. With a team that is diverse in background, Allie and the rest of the Tigers Sports Camp staff look forward to a successful and fun-filled season. At Tigers Sports Camp, Allie and the team strive to provide a safe and positive environment for campers to learn, grow, and have fun. Their goal is to encourage each camper to reach their full potential in a supportive and caring atmosphere.
