In the heart of the nation, in a state called DC, there's a magical place known as the Baseball Stadium, where every day, young champions come to play. They aren't just ordinary children, oh no! These are cool, crazy, and comical kids with baseball gloves as big as their dreams! Their laughter is louder than the honk of a hundred taxis stuck in traffic, and their spirits shine brighter than the Capitol Building itself. Our hero in this baseball saga is a boy named Benny "Benchwarmer" Benson. Benny wasn't your typical slugger; he was a special blend of funny, quirky, and clumsy. He had a hee-haw kind of laugh that could echo across the stadium, and a way with jokes that could make a monument giggle! With freckles scattered across his nose like stars in the DC night sky and hair as wild as a twister, Benny was a sight to behold! Benny and his band of merry baseballers would storm the stadium every afternoon, armed with bats, balls, and boatloads of energy. They'd zip around the field with the speed of a comet, their laughter filling the air. Whether they were practicing their swings, running bases, or just having a good old humorous huddle, it was clear - these kids were serious about fun. And Benny? He was the funniest of them all. Even when he swung his bat and missed the ball, he'd make a funny face and say, "Well, at least I hit the air!" Benny and his baseball buddies made the state of DC more than just a place of politics, but a playground, a place of laughter, dreams, and unforgettable baseball games.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
