In the mighty state of DC, which isn't really a state (although its residents would love to debate that), but rather a dazzling district, there exists a splendid bunch of kids who are more than what meets the eye. These are the DC Art & Crafts kids, armed with their glittering glue sticks, bountiful buttons, and piles of paper as tall as the Washington Monument. Every day, amidst the bustling city life, this creative crew meets in their secret hideout - the back room of Mrs. Mabel's Marvelous Muffin Bakery. But the only muffins you'll find there are the ones made of papier-mâché, painted with rainbow colors, and sprinkled with a shower of sparkles. Leading this charismatic crew is none other than Captain Crayola, a cool, imaginary character with a hat made of paintbrushes and a cape made of coloring book pages. With a laugh as boisterous as a hyena at a comedy club, he encourages his young protégés to unleash their imagination, painting dreams, and carving tales in clay. He is as funny as a jester, often making the children giggle by turning his hat into a paintbrush drum set or painting eccentric mustaches on his face. You'll see the kids recreating the starry night sky using just blue-tac and glitter, or crafting miniature versions of the Lincoln Memorial using popsicle sticks. It's a world where every piece of craft comes alive with stories and laughs, and every child is an artist, coloring the world with their imagination. In the dazzling district of DC, these Art & Crafts kids with Captain Crayola create a world where art isn’t just a hobby, it's a hilarious, happy adventure, and they are its most fearless explorers.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
