Students attending our summer camp will not only learn about the plants in our educational gardens, but will also have the opportunity to work around the farm. Spending time with our goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, and rabbits and interacting with our baby chicks, turkeys, and geese. Woodworking, Hayrides, Harvesting, and Cooking with recipes that are inspired by what is growing in our gardens

Summer Camp

Apprentices meet several times a week to plant, maintain and harvest the farm’s educational gardens and work with Farmer Jonathan in the production gardens. They also care for our rabbits, goats, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys. The program ensures that apprentices work collaboratively to assist in all aspects of the farm, including teaching younger children about farm activities. Apprentices are actively involved in many farm-related tasks. 

Apprentice Program

Our hands-on and immersive programs are designed to educate and excite students and scouts about different aspects of farm life. We offer a variety of year-round, Seasonal, and Scouting options. As all topics related to farming are science-based, our programs utilize Next Generation Science Standards to ensure that your visit is content-rich as well as engaging.

Beautiful outdoor space to walk in, enjoy seeing the various stages of dozens of vegetables grow, beautiful flowers, Saturday farmers market, fun family events, and animals to see.

Today was a blast at the Ambler Farm Spring Fling pancake breakfast and sheep shearing. Kevin was extremely pleasant and helpful. We saw sheep, chickens, and rabbits. This summer, I plan to return to inspect all of the vegetables.
