Programs at Moxie Dance Center in West Hartford, CT
BeAKid
Modern Dance (intermediate/Advanced)
Modern dance is offered once per week and is open to the public. This course is taught by Artistic Director Meghan McDermott. This course offers dancers in the company the opportunity to interact with dancers from the community who are looking to engage in rigorous classes that challenge their technique and creativity. This class performs as a part of the Moxie Dance Center year-end showcase as an example for students of professional-level performance. This course does not follow one specific style of modern dance but rather encompasses many giving dancers well-rounded technique.

Ballet (intermediate)
Ballet is offered once per week and is open to the public. Taught by Assistant Director Zoe Allard this course focuses on reinforcing technique and challenging dancers to use classical movement to improve their practice. This class is an hour long and works through the barre, center floor, and across the floor. One specific school of Ballet is not taught, however, Vaganova Technique tends to be the main style on which class is focused.
