Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens offers developmentally appropriate, nature-based programs for children and families. Sensory Garden - Take a tour of our new Sensory Garden! Explore how our senses help us interpret the world. Discover special adaptations that animals have developed to help them survive in the wild. Vegetable Garden  - Discover just how delicious gardening can be! Tour our vegetable garden, learn fun facts about some of your favorite foods, harvest fresh vegetables straight from the garden, and start your own herb plant to take home.

Free Games & Resources

The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens offers inquiry-based science programs that extend the school curriculum and align with NGSS and CT State Science Standards. Sessions are offered Seasonally. Come join us, feel inspired, and get connected with the natural world. Discover the incredible world of plants. Learn about plant properties, what they need to survive, how to identify a plant, and much more!
