About Endure Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Jesse Cerrone is passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and this passion has been the driving force behind Endure. His commitment to teaching others has brought people from all walks of life to his dojo. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone is welcome at Endure. The environment is one of camaraderie and acceptance, with high-quality mats that are only found in the best jiu-jitsu academies in New York City. Jesse Cerrone and his team of instructors put a lot of work into creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere at Endure. All aspects of the classes, from warm-ups to drills, are led by experienced instructors that Jesse has hand-picked to provide the best experience for students. With his passion and enthusiasm, Jesse has created a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can come to learn and grow.

5-7 Year Old Kids Class
In the younger kids class we like to focus on the basics that will provide a solid foundation as they grow into the older kids class. Kids will get a great work out and have plenty of fun as it all relates to jiu-jitsu. Jiu-jitsu is a great way to teach young kids respect, and confidence at a young age. They’ll get to roll around with kids their age, learn how to keep themselves safe, and get promoted when making milestones to keep them motivated – all while having fun!

8-14 Year Old Kids Class
In the older kids class we focus on physical fitness, accuracy of the moves and positions as well as retention. We keep a level of fun, but transition the kids to a more structured class format as they continue to learn and train. No matter if your child starts in the younger class or joins the older class – they will be welcomed and benefit the same. Jiu-jitsu at this age is great to keep them off the couch and teach them valuable problem solving/conflict diffusing skills as they navigate through middle and high school. Kids that train jiu-jitsu are less likely to experience bullying at school.
