The School of Swimming has been teaching young swimmers for nearly half a century! During this time, our instructors have been dedicated to helping each student develop their swimming skills. We strive to ensure that each swimmer is able to swim with the utmost competence and confidence. Our goal is for every student to enjoy and respect the water, and our instructors are passionate about bringing out the best in each swimmer. They use positivity, patience, and encouragement to cheer on the students.

For almost 50 years, The School of Swimming has been helping children learn to swim. Our mission is to equip them with the skills to swim with confidence and assurance. We also want them to have an appreciation for the water. Our instructors use their enthusiasm and patience to get the best out of their students. They provide support and encouragement to nurture the swimmers and help them reach their full potential.

At The School of Swimming, we are proud to have been teaching thousands of young people how to swim over the course of 47 years. We are committed to instilling in our students a deep love and respect for the water. Our instructors do their best to bring out the best in each swimmer, using methods such as enthusiasm, patience, and encouragement. We want our students to leave with a strong ability to swim with confidence and poise.

In private/semi-private lessons, instructors can focus lesson plans on their student’s specific needs.  Reinforcing skills that need extra work and moving forward in level as soon as a skill is mastered.



PRIVATE LESSONS

We have carefully designed this program to make learning easier.  Our instructors are trained in dealing with your child’s individual needs.  Small classes provide the personal attention that is so important.  Classes meet daily to assure continuous progress.



Group Lessons

Prerequisites: Minimum age of 11.   Proficient in Crawl, Backstroke, Sidestroke, and Breaststroke through our Intermediate level.

My son suffers from severe anxiety. He was reluctant to pick up swimming. But because we have a pool at our house, we thought it was crucial that he learn how to swim. The teachers were FANTASTIC. By the end of the two weeks, our son was swimming at the same level as the other kids and diving into the deep end with them. We are pleased with The School of Swimming very much.
