Keeler Kids
Come and join us for a fun and educational summer experience! Each week-long program offers children a unique chance to explore local history through the lens of our museum stories. Learn about life in historic Ridgefield and see how KTM&HC preserves and shares our history through a variety of creative, interactive, and hands-on activities, including crafts, games, songs, stories, and foods. This place-based programming makes local history accessible and engaging – a great opportunity for kids of all ages.

Classroom Outreach
Our programs connect past and present through storytelling, interactive lessons, and primary source investigation. Programs are led by experienced school docents and are customized for students of all ages and abilities. Our school programs and online units support the C3 Frameworks for Social Studies, Connecticut Social Studies Frameworks, Common Core Learning Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, and STEM + STEAM guidelines. We are currently working to integrate the Frameworks on American Slavery and Social Justice from Learning for Justice, a project of the Southern Poverty Law Center, into our programs as well.

Onsite Programs
Pursuant to state and local guidelines during the coronavirus pandemic, our onsite school programs are offered as local conditions allow. Please contact us for the latest information. We have developed award-winning live-streamed digital programs for distance learning. Please visit Digital Learning for our virtual school programs. Programs are led by experienced school docents and are customized for students of all ages and abilities. Reservations are required for all groups and must be made at least 4 weeks in advance.
