The evening features a cocktail reception, dinner, silent auction, and the prestigious Spirit of Katharine Hepburn Award. This award is presented to an individual who embodies the bold spirit, fierce independence, and distinctive character of the legendary actress. It is presented in the form of a graceful bronze statuette, a sculpture in the likeness of Miss Hepburn, created by Kimberly Monson, an artist and faculty member of the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts. The Kate is proud to be a leader in introducing young people to the arts. Our youth programs – Kate's Camp for Kids, Summer Spotlight!, and the Children's Series – offer a variety of arts experiences for children and families.
