When you step into the Neighborhood Music School, you know something special is in the air. Our unique teaching philosophy encourages students of all ages, from toddlers to seniors, to learn and grow together. Our community is filled with jam sessions, play-ins, workshops, and recitals. Everyone from students to family members to teachers and staff can be found engaging in conversations and collaborating on projects in our halls.

Neighborhood Music School’s Developing and Empowering Leadership Through the Arts (DELTA) Program provides New Haven Public Schools (NHPS) students in grades 6-12 a tuition-free opportunity to foster their artistic expression, grow their leadership skills, build community, and develop life skills that support success in school and beyond.
