The development of our children is essential and in today's world, learning to defend oneself is just as important. That's why our class is designed to help children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. We focus on improving behavioral, technical, and motor skills, and our students excel in focus, respect, discipline, and self-control. Learning these skills in our fun, upbeat class is the perfect way to foster a thorough understanding of self-defense and character development. 

At our class, our goal is to help our students develop respect, confidence, discipline, mental alertness, and a positive attitude towards life. Each one of these principles is emphasized in our teachings, and our students come away with a better sense of self-worth and knowledge of the importance of taking care of themselves. We strive to make sure that our students are able to effectively defend themselves while also developing their overall character.

During 18 to 36 months of age, children's skill development moves very fast. Their brains are growing rapidly, language is blooming, and motor skills are advancing. At the same time, thinking becomes more developed, and their social and emotional skills enable them to interact with more people. With that said, this is the ideal age to begin participation in structured group activities, such as Mini SKILLZ. We’ve done extensive research on the stages of development for children this age, and from that information have built a fun and exciting program that is just right for both the child and their guardian.

Mini Skillz (Ages 18 months to 3 years old )

The Lil Dragons program teaches children ages 3-5 basic skills, while also focusing on improving behavioral, technical and motor skills.  Students excel in focus, respect, discipline, and self-control in a fun upbeat class.

Lil Dragons (Ages 3 - 5) ​

Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean karate that focuses on self-defense through the use of hip-generated power. The art of Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan ("American Brotherhood of the Empty Hand Defense") is taught throughout the United States, Mexico and Chile. Tang Soo do Mi Guk Kwan strives to blend both hard and soft style techniques in a natural way. Training is accessible to individuals of all ages and fitness levels.
