I've been taking weekly guitar lessons with George as an adult learner for the past seven months. A fantastic and engaging teacher, George (co-owner and one of the guitar instructors, a skilled jazz guitarist) is very patient with beginning students while also pushing them to go further than they thought they could. My son took a year of guitar lessons here when he was 10, which was about seven years ago, and that was a good experience for both of us. That's why I came here for lessons. Although a little small and housed in a charming barn-like structure, I have found the store to be a cozy place to be in the summer, fall, and winter.
At Things Musical is where I take harmonica lessons. Paula and George are wonderful. Along with instruments, the store sells a lot of fascinating items and is very adorable. It's a welcoming, family-run business.
I went to sign my son up for lessons, and they were very welcoming, helpful, and took the time to explain how they worked.
I would suggest this location to young people in bands because it seems wonderful with customer confrontations.
