Our unique approach to music education is designed to turn students into real musicians. With School of Rock Fairfield, your child will learn to play music from day one and have the opportunity to perform at local venues. 

At School of Rock Fairfield, we offer an engaging and interactive music learning experience for students of all ages. Our performance-based music education program combines individual music lessons and group practices in a fun and creative atmosphere. Our experienced instructors are local musicians themselves who provide one-on-one instruction in drum, bass, keyboard, vocal, and guitar. Your student will be able to hone their skills and learn to play music from day one, expanding their musical pallet with every practice. As they progress, they will have the opportunity to showcase their talents in live performances at local venues.

Little Wing is School of Rock's music program designed for our youngest students (mainly 3 to 5-year-olds). This music program for toddlers and preschoolers features a special curriculum where students play games and participate in other interactive activities to help them internalize the foundational skills they will use as their musical abilities grow. Little Wing students have one weekly group lesson in which they use classic rock songs to learn about rhythm, song structure, melody, and dynamics through play. Now available online.

Rock 101 is one of School of Rock’s major programs for kids and beginners. The patented School of Rock Method combines our core philosophy of performance-based music education with a unique curriculum designed for kids with no previous musical experience. Students have one weekly group rehearsal where they learn classic rock songs that have been simplified specifically for beginner musicians. These rehearsals get young musicians to learn the fundamentals of their instrument while playing with a band in a positive and fun atmosphere. Students also have a weekly private music lesson with an instructor who will help them rehearse performance songs while teaching them foundational music skills and concepts. Now available online.

Rock 101

The Performance Program is the School of Rock's hallmark music program, where tens of thousands of students enroll each year. Utilizing the patented School of Rock Method, the Performance Program consists of a weekly group rehearsal where kids and teens learn by playing rock music's most iconic songs with a band composed of their peers. Students are assigned songs and parts that are tailored to them based on their age, experience, and ability to learn new skills and concepts. Students then work through their parts in weekly private music lessons and refine the skills and concepts that those songs introduce. The goal of this curriculum is to prepare kids and teens for live performances. Every few months, Performance Program students take the stage and play at local music venues in front of a live audience. Now available online.
