We’re creating team players and future leaders through team sports. Kids get a chance to learn good sportsmanship and teamwork as they practice fundamental skills while having a whole lot of fun. Volunteer coaches provide an additional role model for kids. Your kids will develop friendships and you’ll build a network of like-minded parents.

YOUTH SPORTS & RECREATION

From introductory dance classes to specialty cooking classes, we pride ourselves on providing a safe environment where children can participate in fun activities that enrich, strengthen, and expand their opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. Introductory classes such as Dance I or Beginner Dance are free with an active family membership. Specialty classes such as Karate II or Advance Karate may be added for an additional cost.

YOUTH CLASSES

As the largest provider of swim lessons in Los Angeles, the Y has swim lessons for every age and ability. Choose from weekday, weekend or evening classes for youth and adults. If you prefer, we also offer private lessons!

The personnel at Childwatch is fantastic with my kids. Lessons are excellent. I adore that there are two pools and a place to observe swim classes on the balcony.

This place is fantastic!  The front desk staff is courteous and accommodating.  The members appeared to be familiar with proper gym etiquette, and the equipment is consistently clean.  The pools are also at a comfortable temperature, and after you are familiar with the regulars and the pool schedule, you can determine the ideal time to go swimming.
