The Torrance Batting Cages, established in 2008 by Tyler Sports Inc, is a great place for parents to take their kids for some fun and exercise. The Tyler family, experienced in the batting cage industry, previously owned and operated the Carson Batting Cages at Alpine Village in Carson, CA, from 1978 to 2007, and the Lakewood Batting Cages from 1988 to 2013. With 8 baseball machines, slow-pitch and fast-pitch softball machines, 2 netted pitching tunnels, and 2 turf sports fields, there is something for everyone to enjoy. For the past 10 years, South Bay Divas (SBD) has been shaking up Southern California with its cutting-edge cheerleading program. Founded in 2011, SBD has grown quickly, and in 2018, opened its second location in Upland, CA. The hard work and dedication of its athletes has paid off with numerous awards, championships, titles, and grand championships. SBD is committed to cultivating passionate athletes with a shared purpose. As such, athletes are carefully selected based on their skills, mental maturity, and work ethic. With this dedication to the art of cheerleading, SBD has become the most distinguished competitive cheerleading program in Southern California.
