About Valley Trails Summer Camp

At Valley Trails Summer Camp, we know that your child’s safety and wellbeing is always your top priority. That’s why we have been providing campers with a safe and fun environment for the past 53 years. Our Executive Director has been leading the camp for 24 years, bringing years of experience and knowledge in youth development and recreation-based programming. In addition, Valley Trails Summer Camp is accredited by the ACA (American Camp Association) and is a member of WAIC (Western Association of Independent Camps). At Valley Trails Summer Camp, we strive to provide campers with the best possible experience. We believe in fostering friendships and bonds, and we want to make sure that your child has the chance to enjoy their camp experience to the fullest. We have had the pleasure of hosting 1000’s of campers over the years and we look forward to welcoming your child this season! Valley Trails Summer Camp puts your child’s needs first. Our staff is dedicated to providing them with a safe and fun environment where they can grow and create lasting friendships. With our 24 years of leadership and experience in youth development and recreation-based programming, we are confident that your child will have the best possible camp experience. PATHFINDERS (ENTERING GRADES K)

Our Pathfinder program is designed for our campers entering kindergarten. The Pathfinders will encounter a true camp experience while challenging themselves and opening their eyes to new and exciting activities. We make a point of hiring specific group leaders for the “littles” in our program, that understand their age and needs.

TRAIL SEEKERS (ENTERING GRADES 1 & 2)

The Trail Seeker program is for our campers entering the 1st and 2nd grade. There is a dedicated focus on developing friendships, building self-esteem, and opening their eyes to all that life has to offer. Our leaders provide a nurturing and exciting summer experience, while developing the vital relationships between the them and the campers. The Trail Seeker program provides the campers with the opportunity to play sports, learn about nature, rock climbing, low ropes, sports, games and more.

TRAIL BLAZERS (ENTERING GRADES 3, 4 & 5)

Campers entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will have the chance to explore, make new friends, and to grow this summer. Our program will focus on developing skills for the future, from communication and teamwork, to critical thinking and leadership skills.
