About Cloverleaf Ranch in Santa Rosa, CA

Shawna DeGrange, or “Charm” as she is known on the ranch, has been a part of the Cloverleaf Camp team since 1999. Since 2003, Charm has been the Camp Director and is a third-generation owner/Director. Her educational background includes Early Childhood Development with minors in tennis, dance, and horse mastership. She is also certified as a rifle instructor and archery instructor, and heads up the American Camp Association’s Accreditation Team. In addition to her camp experience, Charm has also been employed by Southern California Girls, Inc., a program dedicated to assisting young women in achieving personal success. Charm has also been committed to her local community. She has worked with organizations like local Rotary clubs, volunteered as a mentor in the “Girls on the Run” program, joined and supported BRONC (Barn and Ranch Owners of Norther California), and served as president of the Mark West Chamber of Commerce. In 2012, she established the non-profit Charm’s Place, which provides scholarships for camp to children in need. Her dedication to her local community was recognized in 2015 when she was awarded the Spirit of Sonoma Award. Ron DeGrange has been involved in all aspects of the Cloverleaf camp since 1963. He holds a California Community College credential in physical education and horsemastership, and is in charge of the Food Service Program. Ginger DeGrange, Charm’s mother, also holds credentials as a French and English instructor and has been a Horse Science instructor since 1971 at Santa Rosa Junior College. A talented rider, Ginger has won many awards, including Grand National Rodeo Queen in 1963, Sonoma County Rodeo Queen in 1964, and California State Rodeo Princess in 1966.

Sleep-Away Summer Camp

Our Resident camp program allows campers to tailor their schedule to meet their individual preferences. For example, if you love sports and staying active you can fill your day with soccer, tennis, football, hiking, and swimming lessons. Or if want to gain horsemanship skills, you can spend most of your day down in the barn learning to ride and care for horses. If you prefer more skill-based activities such as arts and crafts, archery, or riflerly: you will have plenty to keep you busy. Resident Camp offers an overnight camp program for kids looking for an exciting and fun-filled camp experience. We have both one-week and two-week sessions that give campers the opportunity to try new activities, experience a sleep away camp, learn communication and leadership skills, gain confidence, and make friendships that will last a lifetime.

Day Camp 4 – 12 years of age

Our Day Camp program offers the fun and excitement of our overnight program, packed into a 9 to 5 day. (While activities start at 9am, please note drop off is between 8:15am – 8:45am.) Cloverleaf Ranch Day Camp Programs give campers an opportunity to get out of the house and into nature, while providing them with a safe and structured day of activities. We offer two different Day Camp programs with different price points so you can choose the program and price that best suits your needs!

Riding Lessons For Adults and Children age 4 and up

Adults and children of all riding levels are welcome. Tuition due in advance to reserve your space. 24-hour cancellation policy applies. Missed lessons cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Maximum weight of rider is 200lbs. We accept cash, check, and credit cards. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be permitted to ride. Please be advised the maximum weight limit for riding is 200 pounds. Trail Rides are for riders 7 years old and up. Prices Subject to Change Method of Payment: Fees are due and payable by cash, check or credit card. We need a payment to reserve your spot.
