At the Santa Barbara Gymnastics Club, we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for children of all ages to learn and thrive. Our programs offer a wide range of activities for kids of all levels, from beginner to advanced, to help them reach their full potential. We offer classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-age kids, as well as specialized classes for teens and adults. 

Our instructors are dedicated to helping each and every student reach their goals, whatever they may be. We provide the tools and guidance to ensure that our students have the best possible experience. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, so that participants are motivated to keep coming back. We also provide a wide range of other activities, such as open gym, birthday parties, and special events, so there’s something for everyone!

Affordable

We love to have all children flipping, twisting, and jumping to their hearts delight but realize this class might be a child’s first experience in the world of “sport”.  Our curriculum teaches your child gymnastics skills and simple tricks on our kid friendly equipment designed to make learning fun and safe. The physical goals are to prepare the students for: healthy fundamentals, body positions, coordination, body control, balance, safe falling, and training for more difficult skills once all the basics have been mastered. Students practice all 4 competitive events. The students develop emotional skills, work ethic, focus, and also have fun! This is a non-competitive program that has the opportunity to be apart of our local showcases with additional training to teach routines.  

Recreational Gymnastics

The aerial program typically attracts a more artistic and flexible oriented person. The class offers Silk, Hammock, and Lyra. The students are encouraged to work on basic gymnastics skills such as handstands, cartwheels, acro-yoga, and contortion. There are other specialty apparatuses available for group, split private and private classes. 

Aerial & Circus Program

Ninja is a mix of gymnastics, parkour, martial arts, and obstacle course training. This program attracts very energetic children that seem to be bouncing off the walls. We play games to teach motor development (some games or training aspects do include striking mats and contact with other children).

This class also integrates character development, social skill building, and the foundation needed for our parkour classes later on. Students work on gaining all of their safety basic before bigger movements: kids learn how to fall, jump roll, climb and other functional based movement.

If your kiddos are rambunctious, this is a good class. The class works hard on taking rowdy kiddos and teaching them discipline, dedication, and practice with following rules.

This gymnastics club is the best there has ever been. There, my son attended some of his favorite camps and birthday celebrations ever. We are incredibly fortunate to have a fantastic family business that Susan Sarmiento founded. Safety comes first for her and her knowledgeable team, then having fun while exercising.
