About Dance FX - San Marcos, CA

At Dance FX, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to explore the art of dance. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality instruction and individual attention to each of our students. Our classes are specially tailored to fit the needs of each student and to nurture their growth throughout their time with us. We strive to find the perfect dance class for your child and to bring out the very best in them. Our classes range from Creative Dance With Me (for parents and infants from 2-3 years) to Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop, Acrobatics (Gymnastics for Dance), Turns and Leaps, Strength, Father & Child and Mother & Child Dance, and Musical Theater. We are committed to providing a well-rounded and diverse range of classes to meet the needs of dancers of all ages and styles.

Dance With Me
This teaches the fundamentals of basic creative movement with the assistance of a parent or guardian. It will introduce young dancers to the joys of movement and the elegance and grace of ballet and tap in a fun and creative way. Lessons taught each week include balance, coordination, creative movement, self-esteem skills, confidence skills, listening skills, and basic dance skills. (Ages 2-3)

Pre Dance
A fun and structured exploration of tap, ballet, and group work. Creativity, confidence, motor skills, and follow through with directions emphasized. Pre Dance A - (Ages 3-4) Pre Dance B - (Ages 4-5)

Complete award-winning ballet program from beginning ballet through pointe. Ballet is the foundation of all dances. It emphasizes technique, strength, and proper body alignment. Ballet class consists of barre work, centered graceful combinations, and controlled jumps and turns.
