About SLO Monart

The Monart Drawing Method has been designed to help children and adults alike to build and foster a healthy sense of self-esteem. By creating a non-competitive, non-judgmental and educational environment, Monart teaches students key thoughts which help to eliminate negative and worrisome feelings about their drawing abilities. This approach has been highly successful, resulting in increased reading and math levels, improved problem-solving skills and higher levels of concentration in those who use the method. The Monart Drawing Method has been taught around the world since 1979. It has seen great success with children and adults, regardless of their learning abilities. Public school teachers who have received in-service training and implemented the Monart Method in their classrooms have reported tremendous improvements in their students' academic performance, as well as in their problem-solving skills and concentration. With Monart, children and adults can both benefit from developing a healthier sense of self-esteem.
