At SCRAP, we are committed to inspiring creative reuse and environmental stewardship through our educational programs. We provide arts education to public school children, sustainability-minded programs for corporate teams, and dynamic workshops for our community members. For over forty years, SCRAP has been providing the Bayview and greater San Francisco creative community with arts education and creative reuse opportunities. By diverting over 200 tons of materials from landfill every year, SCRAP breathes new life into old arts and crafts supplies. SCRAP IN A BOX
SCRAP-in-a-Box was conceived in March of 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 crisis and “stay at home” mandates. Since then, the program has quickly grown to serve over 500 children with high quality arts education and materials in San Francisco's after school & summer school programs.

Field Trips
Field Trips are a wonderful way to introduce the concept of sustainability, circular economies and creative reuse to your group of students! Field trips are free to SFUSD classrooms.
