    About USArts Education Center in San Diego, CA

    Our school has been providing art education for 17+ years, and our reputation for quality has been growing. We started with only 7 students in 2002, and today we have over 600! We are proud to have families that have been with us since their children were 4 years old, and have grown with us until they graduate high school. Situated in the tranquil Rancho Penesquitos neighborhood, US Arts is an art school that offers classes for children and adults ages 4-18. Our faculty are well-versed in both Eastern and Western art styles, and our curriculum is focused on helping our students reach their artistic potential. We believe that personalized instruction is the key to success, which is why we keep our class sizes small. Our passion is to provide an excellent education in the visual arts, which is why we have created a system of instruction that has been proven to be effective. Students at US Arts benefit from our expertise and our commitment to helping each of them reach their full potential. We are proud to have earned the trust of our community and to have seen our student base grow over the years.

    Summer Art Camp

    Our art camps will focus on learning the fundamentals in drawing & painting and build skills to illustrate kids’ creative ideas in the morning. In the afternoon we will engage in academics, hands on crafts, socializing, physical exercises, and games.

    Art Boot Camps

    This program is designed for middle school and high school students for improving drawing skills and producing art works for their college application portfolio. This is not only for those who want to major in art, but also great for students who want to use art as an extra curriculum to enhance their applications for any major like the sciences or liberal arts.

    Creative Development (ages 4-8)

    Kids at this stage have an abundance of imagination and it is crucial to let them be bold and free in what they create. At the same time, we focus on developing strong foundation skills. Our instructors are well trained in balancing these two qualities of unrestricted creativity and structured technique. We use positive encouragement, demonstration, and guide students to always do their best. This nurtures their confidence and develops the right habits of great workmanship, leading young kids to believe in themselves as artists. According to many parents, our twofold balanced method is how we differ from other art schools, preparing them for higher level illustration.
