About SDPL North Park Branch Library

North Park has a long and storied history of providing first-class library services for its community. The library's roots go back to 1923, when it opened in the Plymouth Center Church. Since then, the library has moved around several times, with its most recent move being to a brand-new 3,560 square-foot building which opened on 31st Street in 1959. This facility was remodeled and expanded in 1987, and it now stands at 8,000 square feet. The North Park library is dedicated to providing a wide range of programs and events for children and families. These programs are designed to promote literacy, learning, and creativity, and are a great way for families to spend quality time together. The library also actively participates in community-wide events, adding to the vibrant culture of North Park. North Park is proud to offer this invaluable resource to its citizens. Hilary Dufour is a multidisciplinary artist living in San Diego who draws on her environment as an ever-evolving source of inspiration. This exhibition explores the intricate relationships that exist within ecosystems among plants, animals, and fungi with a focus on the American Southwest.
