For more than 75 years, San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory (SDYS) has been helping to foster the next generation of San Diegans through music. Our flagship ensemble program in Balboa Park is complemented by our neighborhood engagement collaborations and early childhood music curriculum, making us the most comprehensive provider of cradle-to-college music education in the region. We are also a national leader in innovative community outreach, with thousands of young musicians and their families taking part in our programs each year. At SDYS, we celebrate the success of all our youth participants, both as musicians and as members of our community. We aim to provide them with the social, emotional, and academic skills they need to thrive in the 21st-century workforce.
