About Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu La Mesa

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that is taking the world by storm, and it's easy to see why. With its unique approach to self-defense, it gives practitioners the ability to take on bigger and stronger opponents. Through effective lever manipulation and submissions, it's become a highly effective means of defending oneself. Additionally, its power over the mind, body, and soul make it an attractive option for many people. At Ribeiro La Mesa, we seek to share the core values of Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu with our students, helping to nourish their mind, body and spirit. Through our mission of family, respect, loyalty, discipline, attitude and honor, we seek to grow both as a school and as a family.

Kinder Class (ages 3-5)
Kinder Class is focused towards our little warriors. Students will learn an effective form of self defense that does not rely on strength or size but technique and leverage. The 45 min class will be broken up into three parts, the warm-up, the instruction/practical application portion, and end with some sparring. Our goal with the Kinder class is to help grow self assured, respectful individuals.

Kids Class (ages 6-12)

Teen/Adv Class (ages 12-17 &Yellow Belt +up)
Open to Teens and our Advanced students, yellow belt and above. This will be a faster pace class and go over more of the newer Jiu Jitsu concepts. The class will be broken up in 3 parts similar to the rest of our classes.
