At Mira Mesa Youth Football and Cheer Association (MMYFC), we are dedicated to offering a safe, positive learning environment for children from 5 to 15 years old in and around Mira Mesa. Founded in 1976, we are a non-profit organization that is part of the San Diego Youth Football and Cheer Conference and the American Youth Football League. We are passionate about teaching the fundamentals of football and cheerleading to the children in our program, and about helping them to build character and develop important life skills. Our mission is to instill in participants a sense of dedication, hard work, community, honesty, scholastic achievement, and sportsmanship. Through our program, we give children the opportunity to grow as individuals and to become a part of something bigger than themselves. Our coaches are committed to helping each child reach his or her full potential, as well as to having a positive impact on the Mira Mesa community.
