At Pro Kids, First Tee – San Diego, we help young people in San Diego reach their full potential. Our program encourages and challenges youth to develop their skills in golf and also in life. We strive to create game changers that will make positive and lasting impacts in their community. Our program is designed to provide young people with the tools and support they need to succeed, not only in golf, but in all areas of life. We offer a variety of activities and programs that give the opportunity to learn important life skills such as respect, sportsmanship, and responsibility. With these skills, our young people have the ability to become successful, responsible citizens in their community. The Pro Kids, First Tee – San Diego program is dedicated to helping youth in San Diego reach their full potential and make a positive difference in their communities. Summer Camps

Summer is a crucial time to keep kids engaged and help them successfully transition back into the school year. That’s why we offer specialized camp opportunities that enrich kids’ lives through golf and academic programs – not to mention a lot of fun! *Financial aid available to those who qualify.

Summer Golf Clinics

As we take a break from our normal golf session structure during the summer, we will be hosting weekly golf clinics that are available to ACTIVE MEMBERS ONLY. These clinics were designed to help members sharpen their golf skills in preparation for the upcoming session and certification. Dates, times, and age/level restrictions vary by campus location. Please read below for more information on each week’s specific details. Golf clinics will begin in June and run through August.

The Academy

Our founder Ernie Wright had a vision for Pro Kids, that “golf is the hook, education is the payoff.” The Academy was created on this vision aiming to help our participants off the course develop and enhance their education. Pro Kids formally began offering academic support to kids with the construction of our first 8,000 sq. ft. Learning Center in 2001. Professional staff grew to include educators and programs evolved to include individualized academic support, vocational field trips, and more. Building on our previous academic offerings, we launched The Academy at both campuses in Fall of 2015 to serve kids in grades 2-7 and now serve students through 12th grade. In a typical The Academy participants have access to academic enrichment activities, tutoring, extra-curricular experiences, unique field trips, golf lessons, and physical activities.
