Champion Rhythmics offers a rhythmic gymnastics program for every level and age. Located in the heart of San Diego, the academy is able to provide an exceptional training experience for athletes of all ages, from 3 year old recreational gymnasts to elite competitive gymnasts. With a wide variety of classes and training sessions available, Champion Rhythmics has something for everyone interested in the sport. At Champion Rhythmics, children aged 3 and up can get started in the exciting sport of rhythmic gymnastics. Whether a recreational athlete or a competitive gymnast, the academy has the right program to fit every need. Professional coaches are available to help gymnasts of all levels improve their skills and work towards their goals. With a variety of classes and training sessions, Champion Rhythmics provides an unrivaled training environment for gymnasts of all ages.

Rhythmic Rascals (2.5-4 years)

This is a fun class for the little ones to learn basic movements and skills of rhythmic gymnastics including balances, turns and jumps. Playing with some of rhythmic apparatuses such as rope and ball will help improve hand-eye coordination while simple stretching exercises provide foundation for developing flexibility, posture and beautiful body lines.

Lil’ Champs (4.5-8 years)

This exciting and active class is designed to introduce girls to rhythmic gymnastics. The main focus of this class is establishing correct body and apparatus techniques, providing the foundation for growth, and potential advancement to competitive program. Students develop flexibility, coordination, balance and strength.

Rhythmic Xcel (7 years and up)

Learn body and apparatus skills in this beginner to intermediate rhythmic gymnastics class that includes great exercises to help build a strong and flexible body for gymnasts as well as dancers, cheerleaders and figure skaters. Excellent conditioning program will not only make girls fit but will prevent injury allowing to learn amazing and cool rhythmic skills safely. Stretching techniques and exercises include over splits and extensive back stretching. Girls will also learn all rhythmic skills such as turns, balances, leaps and acrobatics. Practicing rhythmic apparatuses is not only fun but helps develop coordination and agility.
