Ceramic Heights is a pottery studio based in San Diego, CA. Muddy Time is our most popular class!  Never touched clay before? Or perhaps you’re looking to throw clay without the commitment.  No experience required and we will help you as much, or as little, as you like.

You’ll have an hour on the wheel and 2 balls of clay. The  first one is often for practice, as it can become so wet and mashed potatoes that it's barely usable.  If you make something amazing with the first one, awesome, we’ll put it aside and you can use the second ball to try to outdo the first pot, or get experimental.

Where exploration and fun is the goal with small class sizes and opportunities to use the wheel or hand-build. Students can tailor the instruction to their individual interests and aspirations. Mixed ages. Children aged 8 and under, must be supervised by an adult, but they can play too. Includes all supplies.
