About Ohana Surf Camp

Founder Rodrigo Cardenas is a passionate ocean enthusiast and has made it his mission to inspire the next generation of ocean stewards. With his Ohana Surf Camp, he aims to educate children and adults about ocean safety and help them foster a deep love for the ocean through the fun and exciting activities on offer.

Whether you are a complete beginner or a student who has basic knowledge of surfing, Ohana Surf Camp is here to guide you. We provide group and private surf lessons in Ventura, Carpinteria and Santa Barbara for both adults and children as well as organize camps every summer. Let us help you build a special relationship with the ocean and be comfortable with the waves.

Private Surf Lessons
Ohana Surf Camp offers a one-on-one surfing experience to provide you with the undivided attention of your very own instructor. You will have the opportunity to fine-tune your lesson to exactly what you are looking for. This setting enables the instructor to focus completely on you, which allows more direct feedback and the chance to catch many more waves.

Group Surf Lesson
Group surf lessons are perfect for families, small groups, or couples. Ohana Surf Camp does not create or match people into groups. Your lesson can be tailored to your exact needs depending on the level of your surfing skills.
