Pony baseball is a unique youth sports organization with distinct features that set it apart from Little League baseball. One of the most notable differences is the use of a two-year age bracket system and scaled diamonds. This means players are grouped into teams with others of similar age, allowing for a more balanced and fair level of competition. Additionally, Pony baseball introduces more advanced gameplay strategies at a younger age, such as lead offs and base stealing, which starts at age 9 in the Mustang Division, or even earlier in some cases. In contrast, Little League baseball often has a broader age range within each division, with players' ages varying by up to three years. This can lead to challenges for the younger players, who may struggle to keep up with the older, more experienced players due to their relative lack of maturity, ability, and physical size. These younger players may find it difficult to connect with their older teammates, often leading to them spending more time on the bench and feeling less engaged with their team. However, thanks to Pony baseball's two-year age bracket system, players are more likely to have a similar level of skill, making it easier for them to play together and learn from each other. This also allows coaches to give every player the opportunity to play in various positions, as the skill gap within the team is typically smaller. This approach fosters a more inclusive, team-focused environment where every player feels valued and has the chance to contribute to their team's success.

Welcome to the Casa Roble Jr. Rams Youth Football and Cheer Program! We are proud to be the official feeder program to Casa Roble High School. Our mission is to equip our young athletes with the fundamental skills of football and cheerleading, using the same techniques and language as the high school program. At the heart of our program are our core values: Family, Academics, Character, Teamwork, Community Spirit, Self-Respect, and Respect for Competition. These values guide our training and interactions, instilling a deep sense of integrity and camaraderie in our student athletes. We believe that these values are not only essential for success in sports, but also in life. While winning games and competitions can be thrilling, our top priority is always the mental and physical well-being of our participants. We measure our success not by the numbers on the scoreboard, but by the growth and development of our students. Our credo is simple yet powerful: "Do what's right for the kids." This mantra guides all our decisions and actions, ensuring that our program always serves the best interests of our young athletes.

For over 35 years, Camp ReCreation has been providing unique opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to enjoy summer camp and year-round activities. Activities at Camp ReCreation include everything from arts and crafts to swimming and boating, designed to provide meaningful experiences and encourage friendship, social interaction, and spiritual growth. Camp ReCreation is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment that helps foster acceptance and understanding of individuals with developmental disabilities in the wider community. The camp is proudly sponsored by the Diocese of Sacramento and the Knights of Columbus, as well as many other generous donors. With their help, Camp ReCreation is able to give parents and caregivers the much-needed respite they deserve, while giving individuals with developmental disabilities the chance to enjoy the summer camp experience.

The Orangevale Youth Soccer Club (OYSC) has been a cornerstone of the community in Orangevale and its surrounding areas since 1975. This non-profit organization has been dedicated to creating a safe and enjoyable space for families with children aged between 4 to 18 years to participate in soccer. The Club's commitment to the community and the sport is reflected in its long-standing presence and the joy it brings to families. As a volunteer-run organization, the OYSC operates thanks to the tireless efforts of community members who are dedicated to promoting physical fitness and team spirit among the youth. The Club's firm belief in the value of sport in children's lives inspires volunteers to invest their time and energy to create a nurturing environment for young soccer enthusiasts. The board of the Club is committed to ensuring the smooth running of the OYSC. They meet almost every month throughout the year to plan and guide the volunteer operations. This consistent management helps to maintain the high standards of the Club and to guarantee a rewarding experience for all its young participants and their families.
