At the Ontario Ice Skating Center, it's clear that the Vanderberg family had a vision. Established in 1957, it's the second oldest ice facility in Southern California and the first of its kind. The original "ICE BOWL" was the start of something special, and Milo Vanderberg quickly realized the potential of this new industry. He invented a variety of important equipment that revolutionized the skating industry, like an ice re-surfacing machine, an electric broom, and a skate sharpener.
In 1983, the rink was taken over by Donald Bartelson, a longtime friend and skating professional. He was able to continue the legacy set by the Vanderbergs, and the Ontario Ice Skating Center remains a popular destination for recreational and competitive skaters. Skating classes start at the beginning of each month, students may sign-up at any time. Classes are 30 minutes once a week and skate rental is included the day of your class.

Ice Hockey Class and Instructional Game
This is an open in-house league where all participants will learn basic hockey skills for the first 30 minutes followed by scrimmage.
