About Center Ice Arena in Ontario, CA

Welcome to the Ontario Center Ice Arena – the premier family ice sports complex in the Inland Empire! This state-of-the-art facility is located at 201 S. Plum Avenue in the city of Ontario, California and boasts a single, NHL sized (85 feet x 200) sheet of ice. The Ontario Center Ice Arena offers a wide variety of programs for all ages and skill levels, including public skating, figure skating, and youth hockey teams and leagues. It is also the proud home rink for The Empire Hockey Club – a youth travel hockey program. The Ontario Center Ice Arena is also available to rent for both large and small private events. We provide figure and hockey rental skates for the public, as well as a full-service pro shop. Come and join us for a fun and exciting day out on the ice!

SNOWPLOW SAM 1 – 4* DISCOVER, LEARN AND PLAY

Preschool-age skaters develop preliminary coordination and strength to move around on the ice. The introductory classes are divided into four progressive levels for kids with no prior skating experience to build confidence in skating and themselves. Fun and games make this positive experience for your kids enjoyable and memorable.

BASIC 1 – 6* FUNDAMENTALS

The first stage of skills forms a strong foundation for your skaters to explore the world of skating. All will progress at their own pace working toward mastering each skill. Active Start encourages skaters to trade in hesitation for excitement as they grow a love for skating. FUNdamentals harness those skills as agility, balance, coordination and speed become the main focus of this curriculum.

HOCKEY 1 – 4*

The Hockey curriculum is designed to teach the fundamentals of hockey skating. In four badge levels, skaters will learn how to be more proficient and agile on the ice. Proper skating techniques for the game of hockey are the primary focus of the levels. All elements will be taught without a puck. Skaters will learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, use of edges and other necessary fundamentals to be successful in hockey practices and game situations.
