At MDROCC, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the sport of outrigger canoe paddling. Founded in 1967 by Steve Kekuewa and Sandy Kahanamoku (nephew of the late and great Duke Kahanamoku), our non-profit, private organization is dedicated to giving people from all walks of life this chance. We are managed by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by membership fees and donations. All donations are tax deductible and go directly to our programs, so you can feel confident that your contribution will make a difference. We believe that outrigger canoe paddling is a unique and rewarding experience that can bring people together in a special way. That’s why we are committed to making sure everyone has access to it. We offer a variety of programs and activities for all ages and abilities, so you can find something that fits your needs. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned paddler, we have something for you. At MDROCC, we strive to create a safe and fun environment for everyone to enjoy outrigger canoe paddling. We are proud to be able to provide this opportunity and thank all of our members and donors for their support. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and helps us to continue our mission of giving people the chance to experience the joy of outrigger canoe paddling.
