Parents, do you have a Russian-speaking child between the ages of 6 and 17? The Organization of Russian Youth Scouts (ORUR), registered in the US as ‘St. George Pathfinders’, is an international scouting organization dedicated to the development of Russian and Russian-speaking kids. It has been functioning very successfully in Russia since 1990 and has four chapters in the US, Washington DC, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. This program is designed to provide your child with an opportunity to learn about Russian culture, history, and the Russian Orthodox faith in a way that is similar to the Boy Scouts of America program. However, we also emphasize the importance of gender equality in our program, as both boys and girls participate as equal partners from the earliest age. We are offering a unique opportunity for your child to be involved in an international scouting program and learn about Russian culture, history and faith.
