Marat Daukayev School of Ballet is committed to providing students with a comprehensive ballet education. Led by Artistic Director Marat Daukayev, the school offers classes in classical ballet for students aged 3 to 18+. The School is dedicated to cultivating students as individuals, emphasizing technique and artistry in their ballet training. Classes are offered in three semesters - Fall, Spring, and Summer - as well as an Intensive Summer Program and an Intersession Conservatory series. Both male and female students are welcome, and the School takes great pride in providing a quality ballet education to all of its students. The Marat Daukayev School of Ballet is a place of encouragement and growth, and strives to promote a positive learning environment for its students. With Marat Daukayev at the helm, the School is dedicated to helping its students reach their full potential in the art of ballet.

BeAKid
Summer Intensive Program
Marat Daukayev School of Ballet’s Summer Intensive program is designed to significantly strengthen students’ ballet technique within a short period of time. Whether students aspire to dance professionally or simply want to improve their skills in a friendly and nurturing environment, the summer program provides students with the gift of dancing daily without the added pressure that goes along with the academic school year. We offer the highest quality of Vaganova based Russian classical ballet training with teachers who encourage every student to achieve their highest potential. Through the study of ballet, students acquire physical coordination, grace, discipline and self-confidence. In class, students learn to use musicality and ballet technique as a vehicle for expression.

Pre-Ballet Classes
Children begin by learning basic warm-up and stretch exercises in our Pre-Ballet classes, starting with Creative Movement at age 3. Warm-up routines are followed by simple, early ballet movements, taught to fun music in a playful environment. Children learn to follow instructions and cooperate with others in a group and a small vocabulary of ballet terms is introduced.

Levels 1 to 4
In Levels 1 – 4, children will begin to engage in a variety of activities that increase coordination and musicality. Grace, poise, and balance will become more developed. Students learn self-discipline, the ability to focus on goals, and the capacity to work cooperatively with others.
