Mar Vista Recreation Center is the ideal spot for the whole family. Located at the intersection of Palms Boulevard and Sawtelle Boulevard, the center boasts a variety of activities and amenities. From the Roller Hockey Rink, Seasonal Swimming Pool, Baseball Diamonds, Auditorium, Picnic Areas, Playground, and outdoor basketball courts and Gymnasium, there's something for everyone. Plus, moon bounce permits will be issued for picnic areas #3 and #4. In addition, the recreation center offers a wide range of programs and activities, such as Preschool Fun, art classes, seasonal camp programs, sports classes/programs, and dance and fitness activities. Staff, instructors, and volunteers are all experienced and qualified to ensure guests of all ages have a fun and active time. The recreation building (including restrooms) is only open during facility hours and will be locked at all other times. Make sure to plan ahead and take advantage of all the recreation center has to offer during its open hours.
