The Department of Recreation and Parks, through the LA Kids program, has offered FREE programs and activities to youth ages 5-17 years old since 1996. The purpose of the board shall be to promote and establish the highest standards in youth sports programming, to recommend, determine, implement, and interpret rules, regulations, and policies governing Regional and Citywide Youth Athletic Programs of the Department of Recreation and Parks of the City of Los Angeles.
