At Sewing Lab, visitors have the opportunity to learn and improve their sewing skills with the help of top-notch Janome machines. All materials are provided for most classes, and the projects are tailored to each student's skill level. This makes it the perfect place for both novice and experienced sewers to come together and learn from each other. Watching what others are working on can help inspire and motivate, making the learning experience more enjoyable. Sewing Lab is the perfect place for both experienced and beginner sewers. With the latest Janome machines and all materials included, you can learn and improve your skills in a fun and inspiring atmosphere. Classes are designed to accommodate for each person's skill level and by having a mixed class of both beginner and more advanced sewers, everyone can benefit from each other's knowledge and creativity.

KIDS CLASSES

Classes are mixed ages 8-18 years old (must have finished 1st grade). Everyone works on their own projects so mixed classes work well. Absolute beginners and advanced welcome! Classes are held once a week for 2 hours per class. Beginners start off with the basics and more advanced students move on to more challenging projects. For current schedule and pricing see ‘SIGN UP’ tab above. Fabrics and trims etc are all included in the price, no need to bring anything to class. Machines used in class are easy to use Janome 3160QDC-T with speed control.

WORKSHOPS & CAMPS

During summer we offer kids summer sewing camps. These are weeklong camps with 2 hours per day of class time. Registration opens up each year in March/April and camps tend to sell out fast. So make sure you are signed up for our email newsletter to receive an email when camps are posted. Workshops are offered throughout the year. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Winter break workshops and camps. Also Spring Break and other camps. For current schedule and pricing see ‘SIGN UP’ tab above.
