About Old Town Artisan Studios in La Quinta, CA

Old Town Artisan Studios is a vibrant and welcoming hub of creativity for people of all ages. Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit is dedicated to providing an inviting environment for our community to explore the endless possibilities of art. We offer a variety of classes, workshops, and events in a range of mediums, including clay, fused glass, painting, and drawing. While our fee-based classes provide a great opportunity to learn and hone your skills, we also offer free and reduced-fee instruction to local residents in need. SUMMER ART CAMP

Looking for a fun way to beat the heat? Join us for Summer Art Camp at Old Town Artisan Studios! This week-long camp offers students the chance to work with a wide variety of mediums, such as ceramics, fused glass, watercolor, acrylic painting, sewing, theatre, and more. Summer Art Camp will be held for two different age groups: ages 7 to 10, and ages 11-15. There will be a maximum of 10 students per age group. Multiple week-long sessions will be offered throughout the summer. Each session takes place Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. Each day, students will have 2 classes with an hour lunch break in between. We hope to see you there!

CLASSES

Before you register for a class, here are a few things you need to know. Our classes take place in 4-week sessions. That means classes meet once a week, for 4 weeks. Every 4 weeks, a new session begins–so be sure to pay attention to the dates of your specific class! Classes are designed to accommodate various levels and ages.

Visiting La Quinta for a short amount of time? Not interested in a 4-week class? Looking to try something new? Try a one-day workshop or private lesson! Be sure to keep in mind that some projects take time to be fired and may not be ready for pick up until 2 weeks out. Read on to learn more! What is the difference between a class and a workshop, you ask? Great question! Both are fee-based, scheduled opportunities open to the public and can be found on our website. Classes take place in 4-week sessions, meeting once a week for 4 weeks, and can be found here. Workshops only take place on one day for 2-3 hours, depending on the medium, and can be found below. But wait–there is another option! Private lessons are customized opportunities for you and your group. Please call or email to schedule a private lesson.
