About Whispering Winds

At Whispering Winds Christian Camp, we support and honor the teachings of the Old and New Testament and believe them to be the divine Word of God. We recognize the Triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and the power of the Lord Jesus Christ, who through His atonement and bodily resurrection, has freed us from sin. Additionally, we believe in the teaching authority of the Catholic Church. We strive to ensure that our campers abide by these beliefs, as outlined in our Statement of Faith. We also encourage campers to follow all camp rules, regulations and policies posted while at the camp. At Whispering Winds Christian Camp, we are committed to helping campers learn about and live according to the teachings of the Bible. We believe that by operating according to these beliefs, our campers will be able to experience a life-changing and rewarding time here at our camp.

Summer Family Camp

Enjoy a family vacation, parent getaway, and outdoor adventure all wrapped into one! Summer Family Camp offers families the rare opportunity to spend quality time together on the mountain celebrating our faith as we grow closer to the Lord and each other.

Special Needs Family Camp

Special kids and their families deserve a special weekend! So, our Special Needs Family Camp brings families, which include a child with developmental disabilities, together for a retreat of respite, support, fun and prayer on the mountain celebrating each other as God’s special gifts.

Camp Emmaus

Camp Emmaus is a five-day leadership institute offered by the Diocese of San Diego designed to train youth leaders in Christian leadership skills by helping them reflect on their call to discipleship. The interactive learning process throughout the week helps them have the experience of hands-on learning and group sharing. The week will also include daily mass and reconciliation. If you are a High School student who is a leader at your parish, please contact your Youth Minister for details on attending.
