Magikid has an impressive track record – they have coached over 300 students to participate in robotics competitions and have won 26 California State Championships and 3 World Championships. Programs at Magikid Robotics Irvine Lab in Irvine, CA
BeAKid
Day Camp
Magikid Robotics Lab provides camps based on cutting edge technology themes, vetted age-appropriate robots, programming methods and multimedia tools for young learners to happily gain the habit of doing scientific research and inquiry. A typical camp day will start with exploration and discussion of the topic theme, followed by robotics and programming projects, and finally ending with a presentation video or a creative writing story. Each week’s theme is divided into a smaller, related theme each camp day. There are projects to complete on the day and multi-day projects that will be completed by the end of the week.

Scratch Coding
Our units are designed to introduce concepts, review and expand on each lesson. All these are using project-based learning (PBL). Scene and Animation introduce blocks that move and animate sprites around the stage. Scratch Events explores interaction with sprites to create simple games. Scratch Game Data immerses the learner in-game engine methods and graphical interpretation of variables and other data. Game Design explores an advanced look at upgrading a game with a physics engine and adding new levels and abilities.

Robot Explorers
Children will discover a world of creativity, coding, and fun with robots. We will apply the Lego Robot, Mechanical Robot, Coding Robot, and VEX Serious robot. Students could learn a variety of robots, build programming thinking, and learn STEAM knowledge.
